Social Science

Essential to a child’s education is the development of the knowledge needed to make informed and thoughtful decisions for the public good as democratic citizens in a culturally diverse world. At Bedford Academy, children begin developing this knowledge in Preschool and then, more formally in social studies class in Kindergarten and across the Lower School.
