Bedford Academy is proud to announce that we have been selected as a 2026 Inspire the Future: FIRST® Recognition Program School Honoree, a global distinction recognizing schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to inspiring students through robotics, innovation, and STEM education.
During the 2025–2026 FIRST robotics season, Bedford Academy was selected as one of just 15 schools worldwide to receive this recognition. Schools chosen for the Inspire the Future program exemplify the mission of FIRST by empowering students with the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed to become the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem solvers.
At Bedford Academy, robotics is more than a competition—it is an opportunity for students to collaborate, think creatively, solve real-world problems, and develop perseverance through hands-on learning. Our students work together to design, build, and program robots while learning the values of teamwork, innovation, and gracious professionalism that define the FIRST community.
This recognition reflects the dedication and passion of our students, as well as the incredible support of our teachers, coaches, and families who make our robotics program possible. We are deeply grateful to the Bedford Academy community for encouraging our students to explore, invent, and lead.
